Last weeks iPod shuffle night was a big success, thanks to all those who attended and supported the night. Well done to the ladies on the social committee who organised the event to raise funds to enable the club to purchase a defibrillator.

We received some good news during the week, earlier this year we submitted an application to St John Ambulance who are giving away 100 defibrillator units to Victorian community groups as part of their Defibs Saves Lives campaign - and our club was chosen from over 4000 applications to receive one. On behalf of the club we will make a donation to the Heart Foundation in memory of Ron Papst with some of the money raised, the rest will go towards medical supplies for the club.

This Saturday the senior club plays at home against Rowville - always a good game to watch as the rivalry between the clubs is high - I encourage all families to use your senior club membership to attend the game and support our senior players.

Lastly don't forget on Monday 14th starting at 5.30pm we have team photo's for the U9 to U11 age groups and Tuesday night it is the U12 to U17 teams.
